人工智能技术正助力发现更多文化宝藏。意大利理工学院正在与欧洲航天局合作开发“文化景观扫描仪”项目，希望通过计算机自动识别地层深处的考古遗址。据项目协调人、意大利理工学院文化遗产技术中心主任阿里安娜·特拉维利亚介绍，该项目可通过红外线扫描图像、水文信息等，发现地下文物古迹的呈现规律，大大提高效率和准确性。设备研制完成后，可用于大型建设项目启动前的保护性勘探，也可识别非法挖掘古迹的行为，为执法机构提供参考信息。
